My Data Manager is an app that will help you manage and monitor your data consumption on your Android device.
In an ideal world, users wouldn't have to worry about data caps, but more and more network providers are putting limits on data use. My Data Manager makes it simple and easy to track how much data you've been using, where you've been using it, and set up alerts.
When you first launch My Data Manager, you will want to fill in your data cap and when your billing cycle begins. You can also take time to set up alerts for when you pass a certain threshold of data consumption. My Data Manager gives users two alarms to warn users multiple times that their data cap is approaching.
My Data Manager's interface is well-designed with graphs and charts showing you your data usage. Disappointingly, the Android version of My Data Manager didn't include a map mode to view where you've been using the most data. It's a shame as it is a handy feature.
Although My Data Manager for Android is missing the map mode of its iOS counterpart, it does include an Android-only feature where the app sits in the notification shade for quick glancing at how much data has been consumed.
Overall, My Data Manager is a great, free application that helps to visualize, monitor, and control your data usage.
